iPhone at Home: This is the Realme C53 in a Nutshell.

It even has the dynamic island! It will make its way in the Philippines on June 22.

If you can recall, Realme announced and sold the C53 first in Malaysia. It turns out that this budget phone with a big battery, is also coming in the Philippines via a livestream on June 22. The phone is essentially an iPhone 12 clone, complete with the iPhone X-like notch that is supplied by the Mini Capsule, the company’s own iteration of Apple’s Dynamic Island.

Inside is your typical “big battery” budget phone. As with the others, it comes with a 12nm UNISOC chipset, in particular the Tiger T612 with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Virtual RAM and the MicroSD Card slot are ways to expand the RAM and ROM respectively.

It features a 6.74″ HD+ (1612x720px) IPS LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate. It features a really dated waterdrop notch which houses the 8MP selfie camera.

There are “two” cameras at the back. The quotation marks because the other is a 2MP depth helper. In reality, only the 50MP primary is usable.

As mentioned, it has a big battery, 5000mAh of juice paired with 33W fast charging. It has a USB-C port, 3.5mm jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It lacks 5G services, however.

Its price will be announced on the day of the stream. It comes in Champion Gold and Mighty Black.
