The Redmi Note 12 series will arrive on April 13th in the Philippines

Maybe this time, MIUI won’t suck so much. Probably.

It’s about time the Redmi Note 12 series arrives in the Philippines. It’s been a year since the Redmi Note 11 series got released here, so a successor is needed.

This was teased first by a simple-to-solve puzzle game posted by Xiaomi Philippines. After that, several posts about the new phones were released, including the “Live Vivid” launch event.

The Redmi Note 12 series continues where the 11 Pro+ left off and includes four phones in the lineup. These include the basic Redmi Note 12 4G, the 5G one, the one with a flagship camera, and the one with a large 200MP camera. If you could not tell, these are the Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G. We purposefully left out the Note 12 Turbo because we don’t expect the phone to be released alongside these four main ones.

To recap, these four phones have a design reminiscent of the 11 Pro+ series and also feature an IR Blaster, a Xiaomi tradition. You can read our article about these phones. All of them feature an AMOLED screen.

Speaking of “Note 12”. Infinix also has a strangely and coincidentally similar offer, if you’re more into the Infinix Note 12. If we are to witness a “Note 12” being launched with a similar flair we’d have two nickles which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened twice.

We’re just waiting for the price but for sure the Redmi Note 12 4G is available for less than 10K.
