AMOLED on the go! The Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G debuts as one of the most affordable AMOLED phones to be available in the Philippines

It’s only a few months late but it’s still on-par with other 2023 handsets released as of today

There are a lot of “Note 12” phones are being released in the Philippines that, without looking or knowing the brands, you might get mixed up. When you tell your parents that you want a “Note 12”, be specific about which company because they might end up purchasing the wrong phone. It’s either Infinix or Xiaomi.

Let’s say you chose Infinix. Here, we’ll discuss their version of the Note 12 Pro 4G. This one features a circular camera hump similar to Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 9 Pro 4G (which frankly, somewhat adds to the confusion). Its main distinguishing design feature is the U-shaped notch which houses the 16MP selfie camera

The specs are straightforward. It features a 6.7″ FullHD+ AMOLED screen with just the standard refresh rate unfortunately.

Inside is the highest-end Helio chipset available, the MediaTek Helio G99 manufactured using a 6nm TSMC process. The phone is provided with 8GB RAM (+5GB Virtual RAM) and 256GB internal storage. Other phones of the same price range offer only 128GB storage. Not only does this have more storage than the competition but this can further be taken advantage of using the MicroSD Card slot.

It has a “triple” 108MP camera setup at the back (the other two are the infamous 2MP+2MP sensors). This makes it one of the most affordable 108MP cameras available in the market if you’re into that sort of thing.

It has a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It has a 3.5mm jack, USB-C port, NFC, and DTS Audio enhancement, a key feature in many Infinix phones.

The phone is super affordable given the specs. Priced only at Php 10,999. It is available on several sales channels including Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop. Infinix did not say whether the phone is also available offline. Currently, it is Php 500 off, so you could temporarily purchase it for Php 10,499. It’s available in three colours: Tuscany Blue, Volcanic Grey, and Alpine White.
