Try drinking a Pepsi with it
You know, we were actually surprised when Realme told us that this particular skin for the Realme 10 Pro 5G would actually be coming to the Philippines. We were definitely not expecting that (but then again, neither did we expect the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G Free Fire Edition).
The phone was spotted in Shopee with a yet-to-be-determined price tag. It is also being promoted by Realme but no exact date has been announced for its availability just yet.
The phone is an exact copy of the regular Realme 10 Pro 5G but with a Coca-Cola theme. This wasn’t the first time a soda maker collaborated to make a handset. There was also the Pepsi P1 back in 2015 made in limited numbers complete with the Pepsi logo engraved at the back and Pepsi-themed wallpapers. The same ordeal is present here with the Coca-cola edition. (It’s a mouthful to say the entire name).
Speaking of design, the Coke edition features the phone with half of the back covered with a Coca-cola logo. The box is customized and inside features a cap-shaped SIM Ejector tool and some stickers. The wallpaper and the rest of the UI are modified to match the theme. Aside from these, you also get your very own Realmeow miniature figure that is made to resemble the transparent Coca-Cola glasses usually available every Christmas. Realmeow serves as the mascot for the company.
To recall, the Realme 10 Pro 5G sports a 6.71″ FullHD+ (2400x1080px) IPS LCD with a fast and responsive 120Hz refresh rate. It sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
There are three cameras. Two at the back and a single 16MP one at the front. The primary camera here is a 108MP sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots.
It has a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging which could charge your phone to 50% in half an hour. It still has the 3.5mm jack and also the USB-C port. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dual nano-SIM slot, and a design that’s premium and flagship-ish that you forgot you’re holding a budget phone in the first place.
It’s the perfect timing too because it’s tediously hot here in the Philippines. Summer is not yet here but it’s heavily felt. So the Realme 10 Pro 5G reminds you to feel refreshed and have a can of Coke ready to cool you down and beat the heat! #Tastethefeeling.
