At a VERY LOW PHP 3,599 Price Tag (and PHP 2,499 Early Bird), the realme Note 50 Is the Company’s Most Affordable Phone Yet!

We’re betting that there are still going to be complaints for this, especially when users just look at the chipset. Confirmation Bias is real!

This is the realme Note 50, a more or less rebadged version of the realme c51 but at even lower price! This phone is way too good for its price and we’re baffled on how realme is going to reap profits to this thing. Its design, at least the back, is pleasant to look at as well which is a very hard thing to say for an ultrabudget phone.

It’s not just the price (and the very cliche and overused name), the phone, as it turns out, has decent specs under the hood. The realme Note 50 comes with IP54 water/dust resistance, 6.74″ HD+ (1600x720px) IPS LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate, a UNISOC Tiger T612 octa-core chipset, and a 13MP primary camera to boot. At the front is the 5MP camera sitting on top of the waterdrop LCD.

There is a 5000mAh battery here with 10W charging. Nothing unusual for this type of device. It runs a lower-end variant of realmeUI called realmeUI R based on Android 13 Go Edition. However even so, Android Go is pretty RAM hungry but thankfully you’re covered as the realme note 50 comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Both of these are expandable.

It will be launching on Tuesday, January 23. Be sure to catch it on TikTok and Shopee so you can avail a sweet PHP 1,100 discount (from PHP 3,599 down to PHP 2,599 early bird price!). We’re guessing this bold move was because realme wanted to regain its position quickly as the top-selling manufacturer in the Philippines as Transsion has surpassed them just recently. This means going as far as back to its roots, when the realme C1 was released with a stunningly bold price tag as well. The phone will also be available for purchase on the same day on any realme physical store and third-party retailers.

It seems like the media is also forgetting that the Narzo 50i and the realme c30 existed. These two phones also have the same purpose as the badly named realme note 50 (as if there wasn’t any more notes in the world) and also features a similar spec sheet.
