Victory Liner Introduces its Royal Class Bus! Destination? Cubao to Baguio!

With beds and lavatory. Get to Baguio in style. Sleep cozily!

Filipino techies would surely be aware of Victory Liner. They are a Provincial bus company operating for over 78 years now. To commemorate, the company is introducing its luxurious Royal Class bus. For only PHP 1,500, you can now get from Cubao, Quezon City, to Baguio while also feeling comfortable inside.

As part of its commemoration, the company also showed off its first bus, perfectly preserved. Dubbed “Jardinera”. The bus was manufactured by International Harvesters, based in the United States, and first employed as part of the Victory Liner fleet on October 15, 1945. Just a month after Japan signed the Instrument of Surrender at the end of World War II. Many of these served initially as military trucks then were later repurposed for civilian use. Its history mirrors that of the Philippine jeepney wherein they were initially old Willys MB Jeep chassis then repurposed as a means of public transportation.

Unlike your regular fare coach buses, the Royal Class bus, manufactured by Volvo (actual Volvo, not Geely), features double bunk beds and a lavatory. It also sports a new air conditioning unit and mood lighting. This means you can sleep while you wait to reach your destination. Each suite features charging ports and cup holders. It is a more premium version of the Point-to-Point (P2P) buses that also serve from Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

The new fleet of Royal Class buses will be leaving its port starting October 23rd. Also, aside from Cubao to Baguio, the liner also announced that the Royal Class buses will also take trips from Kamias, Quezon City to Cagayan.
