If Apple is so against maintenance, you also have the other side of the spectrum. That is Nokia.
The Nokia C32 is listed on Lazada for PHP 5,490. Its main boasting feature is its sustainability. It also has a water-repellent IP52-rated back so you’re protected against splashes.
It is the direct successor to the Nokia C31. The camera is upgraded from 13MP to 50MP but the 2MP sensor remained sadly. The front camera is also now 8MP instead of 5MP. It now has a much cleaner back and the fingerprint sensor has been moved to the side. It uses a smaller screen with the same resolution. The chipset is the same, a UNISOC SC98363A with 4GB RAM (+3GB Virtual) and 128GB storage.
According to Nokia, the design is luxurious and it sports a toughened glass back and a metallic frame. As a Nokia handset, you are also guaranteed to get at least two years of major upgrades. The phone also has a 3.5mm jack and a MicroSD Card Slot but it has no 5G services and only a single-band 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
