Real Honorable Rivalry: Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth Reportedly to Join HONOR India

Honour here shows once again!

If you have been keen on Realme’s launch events in India, you will often see the face of Madhav Sheth, the company’s CEO in India and Europe. Not this time! His absence during the launch of the Realme 11 series is surely odd, but that may be foreshadowing something.

Earlier this year, Realme assigned Sheth as the VP for the company’s global Business and Corporate Strategy, emphasizing that his international background and vision would provide guidance to Realme’s global competitiveness. His role is vital in bringing Realme on the map, creating different AIoT products, innovative solutions, and bringing them to a wider global scale.

Just recently, Honor CEO Zhao Ming announced the company’s exit from India due to stiffer competition which the company lagged behind because of the recent split between them and Huawei. Things, however, are looking brighter for Honor as they are slowly returning to one of the largest smartphone markets.

According to a report by IANS, Sheth and Realme’s senior Indian leadership, are expected to join Honor with Sheth leading the company as CEO. However, neither companies have commented on the matter yet. So take this with a pinch of salt.

What we can take away from this is that no matter how one falls, there will always be the guiding light that will lead to your rise and comeback. We’re happy to see Honor back on the map in India after years of struggle.
