The Realme C53 is now available! Comes with iPhone-like Cameras

If you want an iPhone at home, this is it. Typical budget phone specs ahead!

In Malaysia, Realme officially launched the C53. It’s another one of those budget phones. The first thing you’ll notice is that the camera array resembles that of an iPhone.

Well… the resemblance ends there. Don’t show the front side to your friends or the “iPhone aesthetic” will be blown. It comes with the typical spec sheet you would find on a BBK budget phone. Its most notable feature is the 33W fast charging rate which seems to be the default even on lower-end phones.

We’re still wondering why so many companies shy away of mentioning UNISOC as their chipset. The same goes here. It’s a UNISOC Tiger T612 chipset with 6GB RAM (+6GB virtual) and 128GB ROM which can further be expanded by inserting a MicroSD Card. This is a 4+4 chipset comprising of four performance cores and four efficiency cores.

In the camera department, you get nothing unusual. It’s a 50MP Primary sensor paired with a depth camera. At the front lies the 8MP selfie camera.

Just like the C55, this phone also has the Mini Capsule feature. However, in the case of waterdrop notch phones, the Mini Capsule is reshaped to resemble that of the iPhone X notch. The display measures 6.74″ with HD+ resolution, and 90Hz refresh rate.

Lastly, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 33W USB-C port that can charge the 5000mAh battery inside, a 3.5mm jack, and Dual Nano-SIM Slot. It lacks 5G services as expected from a phone of this price.

It comes in Champion Gold and Mighty Black. The same colours as the Realme C55. It is available first in Malaysia with a price tag of MYR 550 (~PHP 6.7K). No word has been made by Realme Philippines yet for availability.
