The Honor X9a is a midrange phone with an elegantly premium design. It takes the footsteps of Huawei’s Mate 40 series and so the phone was designed before the company officially split. HONOR Philippines is proud to announce that a new limited-edition colour, Midnight Black, is now available!
On a side note, the company also celebrated the opening of its second concept store in SM City Consolacion which is located in Cebu City. This happened two days ago and this is where the Midnight Black variant of the Honor X9a is first available. During that time, lucky users could win a free Honor X9a!
To reiterate, the Honor X9a was advertised to have a toughened glass screen and some content creators were sent test devices and let them wreak havoc with it, including using it to smash a watermelon, doing the classic drop test, and even smashing it to a wall. Surprisingly, the screen survived with no visible scratches or cracks!
It is a midrange phone in all respects, featuring a 6.67″ OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate. This has a resolution of 1080x2400px.
It uses the infamous Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 (Stay tuned! We’ll discuss why manufacturers love this chipset so much) which means the phone has 5G capabilities. The phone has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It also has a MicroSD Card slot and access to Virtual RAM.
There are three cameras at the back. The main one is a 64MP sensor while the other two include the 5MP Ultrawide and 2MP macro sensor. The front camera is the typical 16MP sensor found on several other midrange phones.
There is a 5100mAh battery inside which is charged via a 40W USB-C port. The phone also has a headphone jack and has access to Wi-Fi 6/6e, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC.
If Midnight Black is not your thing, the phone is also available in Emerald Green and Titanium Silver. All of these colours are available for Php 16,990.
