Realme C55 is coming to the Philippines, according to a leak

The leak revealed the price for the new C55 which was advertised to have Realme’s Dynamic Island concept.

The Realme C55 is a budget phone that got some media attention after a teaser showing a software-based Dynamic Island was shown before its release in Indonesia back on March 7th. Aside from that, the phone is a watered-down Realme 10 featuring a similar design but with lower specs.

In a now-deleted Lazada listing, Realme may have accidentally put up the price of the phone before its actual Philippine release. Luckily, a leakster by the name of Realme Leaks has managed to screengrab the two listings before their removal. These may be the official prices of the phone.

As shown above, the Realme C55 is priced at Php 8,999 for the 6/128 variant and Php 10,999 for the 8/256 one.

To recall, the Realme C55 is a budget phone featuring a 6.72″ FullHD+ (2400x1080px) 90Hz IPS LCD screen. Inside is a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset paired with 6 or 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128 or 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. There’s also virtual RAM and a MicroSD Card slot to expand these two.

The cameras are your usual ones. The primary camera is a 64MP shooter and the other is a 2MP depth sensor. The front dot notch houses the 8MP selfie camera at the center of the display. This is also where the so-called “Mini Capsule” will be displayed.

When this mini capsule was announced, it was not available to the phone initially and users have to download and install an OTA update. It may be available now considering this situation was from the day of the launch.

There’s also a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging which Realme says would be the ‘slowest’ charging speed moving forward for its budget phones and higher. This is charged via USB-C.

FInally, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 5G services, Wi-Fi 6/6e, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and Dirac Audio Tuning.

You could find the phone in three colours that follow the trend Realme 10 has set: Sunshower, Rainy Black, and Rainforest.

Release date is yet to be finalized and since this is a leak, there are chances that these prices would still be changed.
