That design, it’s very real (me).

Tecno has already released the iPhone-looking Tecno Spark 10 and Spark 10 Pro. Right after that, they launched the Realme-ish Spark 10 5G coming with the newest budget 5G chipset from MediaTek, the Dimensity 6020 (which was, funnily enough, introduced first by Realme).

The overall design reminds us of the Realme C30 albeit with an extra camera bump at the lower right-hand side. In addition, it also features a tile-based design which is something common for Tecno starting with the Camon 19 Pro. Tecno calls this “SPARK texture stitching”.

The display here is a 6.6″ HD+ (1612x720px) IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate.

Its main feature is the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset inside, the first phone to be equipped with it. It’s a 7nm 5G chipset that may be intended to replace the ageing Dimensity 700 chipset for budget 5G smartphones. It has Wi-Fi 6 support and Bluetooth 5.2 support as well. This is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage expandable virtually (up to 4GB) and with a MicroSD Card respectively.

There are two cameras at the back. The main one is a 50MP unit while the other is probably a depth sensor. The front 8MP selfie camera is situated on top of a waterdrop notch.

Finally, inside is a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast USB-C charging. It also has a headphone jack, dual-SIM slot, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and Hi-Res audio with Dolby DTS. Two audio features very rarely seen on budget phones. To keep itself cool, it also has an 11,851mm graphite cooling sheet.

There’s no word for it yet in the Philippines. However, it’s available for Indian users for a price of INR 12,999 (~Php 8.6K) starting April 7th.
