This is thanks to a licence agreement between the Ministry of Communications and Information and Converge ICT. Let’s just hope their connectivity is actually reliable
Converge stated last 3rd January that Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) has officially granted access to the company to use its services to provide connectivity in Singapore. This development will be under Converge’s Singaporean subsidiary, Converge ICT Singapore.
The company will be able to deploy the following infrastructure:
- Ethernet-International Private Line (E-IPL)
- Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) Service
- IP-VPN services through Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLs)
- Sale and resale of submarine cable capacities
The license allows Singaporean users to experience Converge ICT’s internet services. Although promos and plans may differ when compared to available plans here in the Philippines.
