Narzo has officially spun off of Realme. Launches the Narzo 50 5G and 50 Pro 5G in the Philippines.

These two are officially the company’s first products.

Narzo yesterday launched two phones based on Realme’s current handsets. These are the Narzo 50 5G and Narzo 50 Pro 5G. Since the company has just split, they’ll still be using resources from their former parent company, including software.

Narzo 50 Pro 5G

The Narzo 50 Pro 5G is Narzo’s version of the Realme 9 Pro+. However, as a company that originated from budget phones, the Narzo 50 Pro 5G has somewhat inferior specs. This includes the camera options it possesses.

The phone has a 6.4? FHD+ (2400x1080px) SAMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It has a Dimensity 920 5G chipset coupled with 6 or 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. So far so good, it’s the Realme 9 Pro+.

The cameras are where things start to change. While the Realme 9 Pro+ has a 50MP Sony IMX766 camera, the Narzo 50 Pro 5G downgrades to a 48MP Samsung S5GKM1ST 1/2? camera. The 8mp ultrawide and 2mp macro were kept for aesthetic reasons. The front camera is still 16mp

The battery has a capacity of 5000mAh as well as 33W fast charging. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and USB-C Port. The phone has 5G services, Bluetooth 5.2, and Dual-Band Wi-Fi for connectivity.

The phone, like the Narzo 50 5G, comes in the same Hyper Blue and Hyper Black colours.
