And the company will just continue growing.
The 3rd major telco company has announced that they now have about 9 million subscribers. This is just after a year since its launching.
In response, the company will start serving even more cities. DITO’s Chief Administrative Officer Adel Tamano expressed that they are “serious” in their commitments to delivering quality services.
“We in DITO are serious about our commitments to weave Filipino communities using the Dito brand of connectivity and will move further forward to deliver,” Tamano said.
“Day-by-day, milestone after milestone, Dito has proven to be a resilient and a positively disruptive force in the Philippine telco industry, improving internet speeds and providing growing competition against the two other telcos with the Filipino people emerging as the ultimate victors,” he added.
Officially, DITO has covered around 540 cities and municipalities and has about 20 stores and 110,000 sales touch points. Last month, the telco has expanded to Ilocos, Cagayan, Benguet, Kalinga, Isabela, Pangasinan, Pampanga, Bataan, Zambales, and Rizal.
The company now also has around 5000 cell towers and about 100 data centers have been set up. More than 30,000 cable links have also been deployed to further enhance its network and reach farther distances.
