With a camera bump that resembles newer iPhones!
The Realme C35 is a budget phone that has taken part of its DNA from the more expensive Realme 9 series and Realme GT2 Pro. We say that because its rear camera design highly resembles it, although there are a lot of features stripped from it to justify its price.
The phone has been released in Malaysia and Realme has announced it will come its way here in the Philippines on 18th May and will be announced through TikTok live.
The phone comes with a glassy premium feel and also has a 6.6″ FHD+ (2408x1080px) IPS LCD on a waterdrop cutout that houses the 8mp selfie camera. It has 180Hz touch sampling rate although the refresh rate remains at 60Hz.
Inside it is the UNISOC T616 chipset. Theoretically, this chipset competes against the Snapdragon 662, Snapdragon 680, and Helio G80. It is based on a 12nm process and uses the Mali-G57 GPU. This is paired with 4 or 6GB RAM and 64 or 128GB internal storage.
The phone comes with the basic camera modules, mainly a 50MP main camera and two auxiliaries, both of which are not that useful. These include the 2mp macro and 2mp depth camera. As mentioned, it has an 8mp selfie camera.
It has a 5000mAh battery inside complete with 18W fast charging. The phone competes directly with the Redmi 10 in terms of specifications, as well as the Infinix Hot 11s and Tecno’s Pova 2. It possesses a USB-C port.
It is expandable via MicroSD card and also has 2 NanoSIM slots. It has a 3.5mm jack to add. For connectivity, it has 4G LTE services, Bluetooth 5.0, and Dual-band WiFi. The phone comes packaged with the 18W charger included. The battery can theoretically last up to 39 days on standby according to Realme
Another thing that comes to mind is that the C35 is among the lightest of the C series, weighing only 189 grams.
