The Oppo K9 Pro is now available! Comes with a Mediatek Dimensity 1200 SoC, 64mp triple camera and 60W fast charging.

The phone, strangely, doesn’t act like a dog. We find that weird since it’s a K9

The Oppo K9 Pro is Oppo’s version of the Realme GT Neo, albeit with a slightly altered design, and of course, ColorOS to boot.

Inside the K9 Pro is the Mediatek Dimensity 1200 SoC like the GT Neo. This is coupled by either 8 or 12GB RAM and either 128 or 256GB internal storage. The display is AMOLED measuring 6.43in. It has a resolution of FHD+ and has 120Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. This is also the same panel the GT Neo uses.

For the cameras, the phone uses a triple camera setup at the back. Notably, a 64mp main camera, 8mp ultrawide and a 2mp depth sensor. It has a 16mp camera for selfies.

The phone uses a 4500mAh battery with 60W fast charging, which is unusual for an Oppo phone considering their SuperVOOC fast charging tech comes typically either with 50W or 65W, and nothing in between. This is the first time Oppo went for something middle ground.

The phone is advertised as an endurance phone, a powerhouse. For this reason, the K9 Pro has Vapour Chamber cooling that measures 14,000 sq. mm. that helps cool the phone, reducing the temperature by around 15°C. The phone boots with ColorOS 11.3 based on Android 11.
