The Mi Pad 5 is now available in the Philippines!

Does it come with a free pen? Of course… NOT

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 early bird prices

Xiaomi announced that it will remove the “Mi” prefix from its lineup, starting with the Mix 4. However, for all intents and purposes, we’re keeping it, to keep ourselves accustomed to the traditional name. With that said, the Mi Pad 5 with flagship-level specs and midrange-level pricing is now available for purchase.

To recap, the tablet has an 11in. WQHD+ (2560×1600) AMOLED panel for its screen, supported by a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate, making scrolling and screen performance smoother and faster. For the processor, it uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor, which is technically just a renamed Snapdragon 855+. Still, while not the latest flagship processor, it still outperforms many Snapdragon midrange SoCs released today.

For the battery, the tablet uses an 8720mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. For cameras, it has a single front camera with a resolution of 8mp and a single 13mp camera at the back.

As seen above, the Mi Pad 5 comes at a discounted price for its debut. By default, the 6/128 variant starts at Php17,990 but for its debut price, it’s discounted to just Php14,990. The 6/256 variant has no discounted early bird price however. It’s at its default price, which is a strange move for Xiaomi as they normally discount all configurations. Not this time though. The 6/256 configuration starts at Php19,990.

You can get them through Lazada. They are available for purchase starting today, 24th September.
