DOH posts a new bidding costing Php1.78 million worth of laptops and desktops


Now that’s more like it. The specs are actually decent for the bidding price this time.

THE DOH posted a new bidding comprising of higher-end laptops and desktops after the organization went under fire by mainstream media after it attempted to purchase Php700K worth of overpriced 2-in-1 laptops. This new bid comprises of 17 laptops and 11 desktops.

Below are the specs of the laptops on which the DOH has procured:

  • Intel Core i7-1165G7 (possibly “U” variant)
  • Branded (not specified)
  • Intel Xe integrated graphics
  • 16GB RAM DDR4
  • 15.6in. AMOLED, 4K resolution, AMOLED, multi-touch, touchscreen support, 400 nits brightness
  • 4×4 SSD system: 256GB SSD up to 1TB SSD
  • 69K per laptop

There’s also a second batch of laptops with the following specifications:
