Redmibook 15
The Redmibook 15 is expected to be released this 3rd August in India. If this was the case, then it would be the first Redmi-branded laptop to be released for the Indian market.
Since Xiaomi did not disclose any specs yet for this laptop, we can only speculate for now.
As per the name, the laptop would have a screen measuring 15.6in. with a FHD resolution (1920×1080) and more likely an IPS LCD screen.
There would be either an 11th-gen Intel Core i3 (most likely the “U” variant) or Intel Core i5 running the laptop. Clearly this laptop is not meant for heavy gamers and would most likely be considered mainstream. The RAM capacity is also modest, only 8GB. It would come with PCIe SSD with either 256GB or 512GB storage.
For connectivity, the laptop should come with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5 and HD webcam for video conferencing. For ports, there would be three types of USB ports, namely, USB-A, USB-C 3.1 and USB 2.0. There’s also an HDMI port and a 3.5mm audio jack as well as support for 65W charging.
Pricing and official specs should be announced on 3rd August and would be available on Xiaomi’s website as well as third-party e-commerce stores like Flipkart.
In related news, its competitor, the Realme Book should also be unveiled also this August and is also certified to come with 65W charging.
