The Realme GT Master’s Edition is set to launch this 21st July, 2021 in China. Before the launch date, there were promo images on Weibo revealing its design.

According to the image above, it appears the design is based on a Reno 6 or OnePlus 9, which makes sense since Realme is part of BBK Electronics. Other than the familiar camera pattern design, there’s also the signature of Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa that can be seen next to the camera module, as well as a unique “Realme” branding.

Moreover, recent leaked documents reveal that the Realme GT Master Edition will sport a 6.43in. AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. It will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 5G chipset, which is ironically lower than the base Realme GT using a Snapdragon 888 flagship processor. The phone would likely come in two variants: 8/128 and 8/256.

For the cameras, it will use a Sony IMX615 sensor with a resolution of 32mp for the front cam, while the rear cam will use a totally unique 64mp triple camera module. Yes, the usual 64mp main, 8mp ultrawide and 2mp macro. It is revealed that this device has a model name ‘Realme RMX3361’ that was listed recently on TENAA.

For the battery, it has a 4300mAh with 65W fast charging support, the same one that the vanilla Realme GT uses

Realme GT Explorer Master Edition

There is also a reported higher end version of the Master Edition called the Explorer Master Edition (that’s a mouthful). This phone uses a flagship level Snapdragon 870 processor instead, and also inherits Vivo’s “Virtual RAM” feature. Reports say you can have up to 19GB RAM from the base 12GB RAM the phone will come. In simple terms, you can have a total of 19GB RAM: 12GB from the hardware, and then 7GB additional virtual RAM.

For the camera, it uses a 50mp Sony IMX766 as its main lens, there’s also a 16mp ultrawide coming with the phone as well as filler 2mp camera. For the front cam, it will use a 32mp camera similar to the vanilla Master Edition. For the battery, it will use a 4500mAh battery and again, 65W fast charging tech. This phone was listed on TENAA with model number RMX3366. Reports say that this phone will come with up to 512GB storage and up to 12GB RAM.
