Realme TechLife’s lifestyle arm, DIZO, is official in India!


Early March this year, Realme has announced a new AIoT platform called DIZO, as part of the Realme TechLife ecosystem. The brand is now official in India and has started to roll out various AIoT products as well as lifestyle products in the country. DIZO was officially unveiled through a livestream.

These AIoT products focus on three aspects: a trendy industrial design, fitting the target audience of Realme since its inception, a large supply chain and an easy and convenient AIoT experience in which the youth would love. Which means these products should work on Realme’s ecosystem app called Realme Link. The first products of DIZO are a pair of ear pods called GoPods D, as well as neckband earphones called DIZO wireless

DIZO GoPods D

The DIZO GoPods D is a rugged set of earphones with AI capability perfect for Realme’s TechLife ecosystem. These buds are essentially rebrand of the already existing Realme Buds Q2 that were launched in some countries outside of India, with a slightly altered design.

For the features, it has 20 hours of total playback and support for fast charging. Realme claims that a single 10 minute charge would give a user 2 hours (120 minutes) of total playback for each bud. The buds also have a large 10mm bass boost driver and a low latency of 110ms when game mode is activated.

The GoPods D also has intelligent touch controls, such as double tapping to stop and play music, as well as answer or hang-up calls, and triple tap to select the next song. These controls can be reconfigured through the Realme Link app.

The buds are also IPX4 sweat and waterproof, so that you can use while doing extreme water sports such as surfing and swimming. the earbuds itself has a radial texture with a compact lightweight design, with a weight of only 4.1g for each bud. The buds support Bluetooth 5.0 and also has noise cancellation capabilities that lessen white noise such as from appliances. They are also compatible with the Realme Link app.

The earbuds are available in India starting July 14th with a price of INR 1599 (~Php1.1K) on Flipkart and other authorised resellers.

DIZO Wireless

The DIZO Wireless is essentially a rebrand of the Realme Wireless 2 Neo. This neckband earphones has several colours: Orange, Black, Green and Blue.

Like the GoPods D, it has a game mode that supports 88ms low latency that is rated lower but also has a larger 11.2mm bass boost vs the GoPods’ 10mm. In addition, they also have a noise cancellation feature that reduces or eliminates white noise such as vacuum cleaner sounds and ACs

These earpods are also IPX4 waterproof and lightweight, with a total of 23.1g. They are also magnetic and has 150mAh battery with fast charging support and charges through a USB-C port. According to Realme, a single 10 minute charge can give you up to 2h of playback. As the wireless neckbands are part of Realme TechLife ecosystem, they are also compatible with Realme Link app.

Like the GoPods D, these earpods have been torture tested to ensure durability in the long run.

The DIZO Wireless is available for INR 1499 (~Php 921) which is much more affordable than the GoPods D. However, during its debut, Realme will also introduce a discounted price of INR 1299 (~Php 854) on Flipkart. The earpods would be first available starting 7th July in India. Both earpods would soon be available offline in authorised resellers. Though, it is not clear whether these products would also launch internationally.
