Transsion is reaching all heights brands couldn’t surpass!
When Transsion makes a phone, they cater to those who are budget-conscious, but unlike other brands, they make sure their phones are heavily feature-packed, to the point you’ll be surprised that their phone only costs this much, as you would think that their phones would cost MORE THAN THAT.
Here they are again with the Zero 30. It’s a budget midrange phone with quirks and features seen mostly on phones at a sub-30K price point. Its main features are its 144Hz 6.78″ AMOLED (say that again), and… get ready for this… 4K@60fps selfie video (What now?!). This display is also curved, fancy that “waterfall” type here.
Okay, we got too excited there. Aside from these two, the phone also has the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 (or Dimensity 1300 for those who forgot) with 8 or 12GB RAM and a choice between 128GB or 256GB non-expandable storage.
Aside from the 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 front camera (with 4K@60fps video, to reiterate), there’s also a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM6 Primary camera with OIS, a 13MP Ultrawide, and a 2MP depth camera. Infinix also “borrowed” a concept from Vivo, as its flash here is also a ring light, AND it’s also called Aura Ring Light! As long the name is not patented and registered, there are no lawsuits to come. The phone debuted in Venice and caters towards vloggers, hence the 4K video capability at the front, to further highlight that, the company set up its Mobile Vlog Awards (MVA).
The phone has a 5000mAh battery with 68W fast charging. Are you expecting wireless charging here? No? Then the phone has none.
There are three colours available. The first is Golden Hour, the second is Fantasy Purple. Both of these appear to be made with aluminum. Finally, there’s Rome Green which is made from vegan leather and has a nice grass-like feel to it.
Price starts at INR 23,999 (~PHP 16.4K) for the 8/128 variant which is mind-blowingly affordable (this is the part we’re talking about earlier) and the 12/256 variant is priced at INR 24,999 (~PHP 17.1K). Both of these are available to pre-order on Flipkart and they will be available elsewhere soon.
