ICYMI: The OPPO Reno10 Series is Now Available for Purchase Starting at PHP 23,999

The Reno10 Pro+ is such a gem for shooting the heavens above.

Back on August 3, Oppo released the Reno10 series amidst a live event held in The Manila Hotel with Bea Alonzo and David Laucoco as guest stars and representatives. There are three phones in the series all intended for the amateur and professional photographers out there. The Reno10 Pro+ even comes with a periscope camera which we fell in love with.

Oppo Reno10

The first phone in the series, the Reno 10, is a midrange phone with a 64MP Primary camera, an 8MP Ultrawide, and a 12MP Telephoto. See what’s missing here? The 2MP sensors! This means no cameras of the Reno10 series are gimmicky and placed for aesthetic reasons only. All of them are fully functional! There is also a 32MP Selfie camera.

To recap, it is equipped with a Dimensity 7050 (Dimensity 1080) chipset with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It also has a curved 6.7″ FullHD+ (2412x1080px) AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate. It uses a 5000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging and has an in-display fingerprint sensor, 5G services, Dual-band Wi-Fi, and NFC.

The phone is priced at PHP 23,999 and comes in Ice Blue and Silvery Grey. The former is the phone’s unique colour.

OPPO Reno10 Pro:

Keeping a relatively similar design, the Reno 10 Pro is an upgrade from the base phone as it replaces the 64MP Primary camera with a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor. So now, you can create videos on the go while moving and it will remain steady. However, using OIS takes a massive amount of resources and your phone will get hot fast if you use it for long. The phone retains the same 8MP Ultrawide, 12MP Telephoto, and 32MP Selfie cameras.

To recall, instead of using a Dimensity 7050 chipset, the Reno10 Pro now uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset which has better performance. It also retained the same 5000mAh battery but has a faster 80W charging speed. The corresponding cable and brick are included with every purchase. It too has an in-display fingerprint sensor, 5G services, Stereo Speakers, and NFC.

It comes in two colours: Glossy Purple and Silvery Grey which are also shared with the Reno10 Pro+. It is priced at PHP 29,999 for the 12/256 variant.

OPPO Reno10 Pro+

Oh hey look, it’s the phone we’ve reviewed! We’re proud to have it as a review unit and frankly, we’re stunned to see how amazing its AI capabilities are. That’s because, unlike the latter two, the Reno10 Pro+ has been given the flagship treatment, including the MariSilicon X NPU which is seen on the Find X6 Series.

To recall, the Reno10 Pro+ uses a higher-res 6.7″ 1.5K curved 120Hz AMOLED compared to its siblings. Another major difference (aside from the obvious cameras) is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage like the Reno. Though obviously, this phone uses a faster UFS 3.1 ROM and LPDRR5 RAM.

There are three cameras at the back, all of which are fun and flexible to use. It uses the same 50MP Primary camera and 8MP Ultrawide as with the Pro but the telephoto is significantly upgraded to a 64MP Omnivision OV64B Periscope Camera with OIS! This is why we were able to shoot the moon with detail. This Periscope can zoom up to 120x.

Among other things, the phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner, IR Blaster, 5G Services, Stereo Speakers with Hi-Res Audio, HDR10+ support, and L1 Widevine Certification. Though close to a flagship, it lacks an IP rating and wireless charging.

It costs PHP 39,999 to purchase and also comes in Silvery Grey and Glossy Purple.

You can buy all three phones online like in Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop, as well as offline including Oppo’s concept stores and authorized third-party retailers nationwide.
