Samsung may have “accidentally” revealed the Galaxy S23 launch date

Not clickbait. It’s February 1 in case anyone asks.

As you could expect from Samsung, the company would launch its next S-series phone every February and the next Note, Flip, or Watch every August or September. We said “accidents” in quotes because we believe this is part of Samsung’s tactic to get the media to talk about the launch and bring in the hype. What’s on the menu? The Galaxy S23 series in this year’s first Galaxy Unpacked event.

Although Samsung did not explicitly or even indirectly mentioned the device, the photo above is pretty much telling. And because we wrote this article, we clearly took a bite in Samsung’s bait. That’s not necessarily a bad thing because we also need a small piece of the pie. Views count.

You could expect the event the time February hits. Yes, exactly on February 1st. If you want to know how the S23 series would look like, the rumor mill may give you ideas. Before you click the link let us spoil you now: They look plain and boring. It continues on what the S22 series is. Even the S23 Ultra looks similar if not identical, to the S22 Ultra. It has a sharp squarish body with a P-shaped camera island. And another thing, Samsung may not create an Exynos version this time, after the last one, with AMD, failed expectations. So it’s all Qualcomm here.
