Realme took some ideas from Tecno to make the design possible
Realme is set to unveil the next number series globally, and of course, the Philippines is not missing out on it. The series took some substantial changes as the Realme 10 now only has two cameras at the back and sports a Helio G99 chipset. To make a comparison, the Realme 8 started with Qualcomm Snapdragon 720 and the Realme 9 with Snapdragon 680. This makes the Realme 10 effectively slotted under the budget segment.
The design is reminiscent of that of the Tecno Camon 19 as well as Oppo’s A series budget phones. It features two camera humps, one for the 50MP primary and the other for the 2MP depth sensor. The front features a 90Hz SAMOLED screen housing the 16MP front camera on a punch-hole cutout. The design here is a signature from BBK, that is, classy and premium despite its price tag.
Realme also said that they have substantially improved the viewing experience by enhancing the speakers, of which can now go up to 200% volume. The company calls this Ultra Boom speakers which they said has enhanced clarity.
By default, the Realme 10 comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also has a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. You might have guessed this one. It comes with a USB-C port and a 3.5mm jack too, in addition to the MicroSD Card slot. Dynamic RAM is also available, up to 5GB. This takes a part of your storage to temporarily turn it into RAM
The Realme 10 Pro’s information is yet to be announced. Stay tuned on November 9th, 2:00PM Philippine Standard Time. Price, colours, and availability will be announced there. You can visit Realme’s Facebook to keep track of the event.
Despite the phone not being released yet, the company already announced a debut sale which offers a Php 2,000 discount and an additional 1 year warranty on top of the already available 1 year warranty. For two years, you’re guaranteed that your phone is still under its insurance period. However, these are only available on November 11-13 when you pre-order the Realme 10.
We’ll let you know once it is out.
