The TECNO Camon 19 series is priced in the Philippines.

This includes the very attractively designed Mondrian edition too!

Tecno has announced the Camon 19 series previously in Nigeria, its main market, as well as India. Now, its bringing the phones in the Philippines, including the abstract Mondrian edition which reminds us of the early Project Ara from Google, a modular phone.

There are two phones. There are the 5G and the non-5G version which have more features and also have the Mondrian design. Both of these phones are similar with the exception to their chipsets. The former uses a Dimensity 810 chip while the latter uses a MediaTek Helio G96. Both of these phones feature a 6.8in. IPS LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate and a 64MP RGBW camera with OIS.

The Helio G96 phone comes in Eco Blue and Cedar Green as well as the Mondrian Edition. The first two costs Php 13,490 for the 8/128 configuration while the Mondrian Edition is slightly more expensive, at Php 14,290. This version also has 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

Tecno Camon 19

We haven’t made a dedicated article for the Camon 19, so we’re listing it here instead. The base variant features the same screen (albeit with a standard 60Hz refresh rate), battery, and 64MP RBGW camera as their more expensive siblings but also uses an ageing Helio G85 chipset. The phone could have used a Helio G88 so that it could compete better with phones of similar calibre but Tecno instead settled for the older G85.

Also, while it uses the same battery, it charges slower at 18W. That’s still better than having no fast charging at all. The phone comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage as well as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and USB-C. It has no 5G services.

It is priced at Php 10,290 and comes in Sea Salt White and Eco Black
