Disney Plus is coming to the Philippines as if there aren’t a lot of streaming services available. Netflix would soon get a run for its money.
Its LinkedIn page stated that it’s looking for Social Media Managers and others. Since they’re hiring, they may be preparing to bring their services here in the country.
The company has confirmed previously that its services would be live starting October 2021. It’s 2022 now and there were no updates since then. However thanks to the hiring, things may get a little more interesting…
The Job listing will also ensure Disney Plus’ social media marketing in time for the launch of the streaming service. Other positions the company is looking for include “Manager Brand and Content Marketing” and “Executive, Curation & Planning, Disney+ Philippines”
Disney owns the world if we do recall correctly. They own popular IPs such as Marvel, Pixar, 21st Century Fox, and National Geographic, to name a few. Also, the company is known for its poor work ethic.
