The Infinix Note 12 5G and Note 12 Pro 5G complete the Note 12 family!

It has a gaming-like design too so you know who their audience is with these two.

To complete the Note 12 family, there must be a 5G variant. Scratch that, Infinix actually released TWO 5G phones to complete the family. We already have the regular Infinix Note 12 with G88, the one with G96, and the VIP variant.

The designs of the phones retain the ugly u-shaped notch when other phones (other than Vivo’s) start using dot notches. Nevertheless, both phones are beefy for their price. They also share nearly the same spec sheet, apart from their cameras and configurations.

INFINIX NOTE 12 5G

The Infinix Note 12 5G has a 6.7in. FHD+ (2400x1080px) AMOLED screen although it only has a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Small downside as phones similar to it feature at least 90Hz of refresh rate. It has a back painted with AG Matte that makes it look and feel more expensive than it actually is, a nice aesthetic touch.

The phone has a Mediatek Dimensity 810 chipset. It is certainly better than the basic Dimensity 700 other phones have. It is paired with 6GB RAM and disappointingly, 64GB internal storage. Although both of these are expandable. With the RAM expandable all the way to 9GB virtually, and the storage via MicroSD card. With the advent of 1.5TB MicroSD cards, the Infinix Note 12 5G series came prepared and perfectly compensates with the lack of storage as the MicroSD card slot can support up to 2TB storage.

There is a triple camera system although nothing much to see here. It comes with the usual 50MP + 2MP + AI setup. The front camera is 16MP sitting on a dewdrop notch. It has a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, typical for phones of its class.

It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5G services (obviously, Dual-Band Wi-FI, and Bluetooth 5.2. Its speakers are further enhanced with DTS sound.

It comes in Force Black and Snowfall White colours

INFINIX NOTE 12 PRO 5G

As mentioned earlier, the main differences between the two phones lie in their cameras. Both come with the same 6.7in. FHD+ AMOLED screen (again no high refresh rate), Mediatek Dimensity 810 chipset, although the Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G comes with 8GB RAM (+5GB virtual RAM) and 128GB storage that is expandable up to 2TB via MicroSD card. It also has a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, DTS Audio, and Side-mounted fingerprint sensor

The cameras here have an identical setup but the primary camera has been switched to a 108MP sensor. The front camera is the same as well, 16MP on a dewdrop notch.

Colours are the same too, Force Black and Snowfall White.
