A budget phone.
Tomorrow, the 30th of June, Oppo will release the A57, a phone with a design that strikingly feels similar to the Vivo T1, unsurprising since Vivo is also owned by BBK Electronics.
The Oppo A57 is a typical budget phone with a few notable features, mainly the 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging and stereo speakers. The phone is intended for productivity and casual entertainment use. It is also marketed to handle multitasking features.
The new Oppo A57 improves on the older 2017 version by having a larger 6.56in. HD+ (1612x720px) IPS LCD screen, a Mediatek Helio G35 chipset, and as mentioned, a larger 5000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC charging. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It also comes with a dual-camera setup at the back, namely a 13mp primary and a 2mp secondary depth sensor. The front camera has an 8mp resolution sitting on a waterdrop notch.
It has 4G LTE connectivity, USB-C port, a 3.5mm jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a dual nano-SIM slot. It comes in Glowing Green and Glowing Black. Price starts at Php 8,999. It is purchasable through Oppo’s offline stores and Shopee and also comes with a FREE TG113 Bluetooth speaker worth Php 1,499 valid on its launch day only.
