The RedmiBook 15 has launched in the Philippines today!

If you’re looking for a large mainstream laptop without breaking the bank, then check this one out.

Xiaomi has brought the RedmiBook 15 today in the Philippines! It is a mainstream laptop aimed at creative and office users. While it is large, it does not appear to have a number pad. It was first launched in India.

The laptop features a large 15″ FHD+ (1920x1080px) IPS LCD screen with DC Dimming and 500:1 contrast ratio. In terms of its internals, the laptop uses either an Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor or Intel Core i5-11300H processor which is surprising since this is aimed at those who are not task-heavy, and the “H” significance performance use, so thumbs up to that. Both of these processors are dual-core and have four threads, and have a clock speed of 3.0GHz. The laptop is also complemented with Intel UHD graphics (for the i3 variant) or Iris Xe integrated graphics (for the i5 variant), as well as 3200MHz 8GB DDR4 RAM and either 256GB SATA SSD or 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD internal storage.

In terms of connectivity, the laptop has Bluetooth 5.0 as well as dual-band Wi-Fi support. For ports, the laptop comes with the usual ports as its competitors which include a single HDMI 1.4 port, a single USB 2.0 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, an Ethernet port, 3.5mm jack, SD card reader, Kensington Lock, charging port, and Optical Digital Audio Out port.

It features a quad-speaker system certified with DTS Audio for clear sound. It also has a single 720p webcam not located on a notch. The battery is a little disappointing, only 46Wh of battery life but it does include a 65W power adapter in the box.

It comes in Charcoal Gray and the price actually surprised us. For this performance-level mainstream laptop, only starts at Php 26,999 (Core i3, 8/256) and goes all the way to just Php 37,999 for the Core i5 version. This is way more affordable than what you can buy in the mainstream. It boots with Windows 11 by default.

During the pre-orders, the notebook itself is discounted to Php 25,999 and Php 35,999 respectively. It also comes with a FREE Xiaomi Backpack and a one-year subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal. It is available in Silicon Valley as well as Xiaomi stores nationwide starting 1st July.
