Realme launches the C30 budget phone with a luggage-stripe design and a single large camera hump!

It’s like OnePlus Ace but for broke people.

Realme has launched the Realme C30 budget phone. If there’s anything that stands out Realme’s budget phones from the rest, it’s probably their designs. It is creative and feels modern and sleek, hiding the fact it is a budget phone.

The back design features a stripe design similar to the ones you see on luggage. The company has a strange thing with luggage. This design choice was seen first on the Realme GT Master. Luggage does symbolize the need to travel, so we can see why they like this. It’s about sending a message.

Apart from its design, it is a typical budget phone. Namely, it has a 6.5in. HD+ (1600x720px) IPS LCD screen, a UNISOC T612 processor (12nm, octa-core, ARM Mali-G57 GPU, 2x Cortex A-75@1.8GHz), a single 8mp rear camera housed in a large circular cutout, 5mp selfie camera, a 5000mAh battery, and a dedicated MicroSD slot that can accommodate up to 1TB data.

It has 4G services and a 3.5mm jack. Sadly, it comes with an outdated MicroUSB that even the European Union is phasing out. It has no fast charging and it caps at 10W. It doesn’t appear to have any fingerprint scanner.

It runs Realme UI Go based on Android 11 Go. It comes with either 2 or 3GB RAM and 32GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. It has two colours: Bamboo Green and Lake Blue. It is official in India starting 12nn on 27th June and will go on sale in offline stores, Flipkart, and other partner retailers. We’re yet to hear a Philippine release.
