As Google announced previously in their I/O event about Android 13 beta, several OEMs joined to be one of the first, including Asus, Xiaomi, OnePlus, and a new contender… TECNO! In addition to this, the Camon 18 series would be getting Android 12.

The TECNO CAMON 19 Pro (5G) with Android 13 Beta will definitely allow our users to be among the first to access new features and bring them pleasures,” said Stephen Ha, Vice President of Transsion and GM of Tecno Mobile.
This move is part of the company’s “stop at nothing” campaign, where it vows to provide the best user experience and encourage them to explore unlimited possibilities. Tecno aspired to create a more innovative and more stylish lifestyle for them, and the upcoming Camon 19 Pro 5G will symbolize that. Rumors tell it will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, making it the first Tecno phone with a Qualcomm chipset.
Since it’s part of the Camon series, expect that the phone will be camera-centric, and even on its blog post the company is boasting their night shot capabilities. The phone will launch this June.
