The Vivo V23e 5G silently arrived in the Philippines. It is equipped with a 44mp front camera and Dimensity 810 processor

Silently because this is just a slightly improved V21e. No need to throw that one out the window if you own it.

The Vivo V23 series is the successor to the Vivo V21 series, noted for its extreme emphasis on vlogging. One of them even has OIS built-in for the front camera (but not the main camera lol). The V23e was first announced in Thailand and has now made its way to the Philippines.

The Vivo V23e features a 6.44in. FHD+ AMOLED screen on an outdated dewdrop notch with a regular 60Hz refresh rate. A classic move from Vivo. It is equipped with the Dimensity 810 5G processor paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The RAM can further be expanded virtually for up to 4GB, at the cost of some of your storage.

In terms of battery, it has a typical 4050mAh battery with 44W fast charging that the company claims can charge from empty to 69 (nice) percent in just 30 minutes. We don’t know why Vivo chose this number, it’s a little random but I’ll allow it.

The cameras, specifically the front camera, are its main features. The rear camera consists of a 50mp main sensor, complemented by an 8mp ultrawide and a 2mp macro. The software includes features like an improved night mode and stabilisation. The front camera is 44mp with eye tracking.

First seen on the Facebook Marketplace, Vivo should announce its appearance soon. Facebook Marketplace is often unreliable for selling things like phones, but the fact that it appeared there meant that the V23e is coming to the Philippines. Prices also vary as sellers can change it without repercussions. Currently, the price is listed at Php15,500 (although the title remains unchanged at Php16,999 which could mean that this is the official price).
