Infinix silently launches the Hot 11 Play in the Philippines as the successor to the Hot 10 Play

With an equally distinct and mundane design, and with slightly upgraded internals

Infinix has silently launched the Hot 11 Play in the Philippines in Shopee. There are two variants of the phone, but before we get into that, let’s head for the specs first.

In comparison to the Hot 10 Play, it has a Helio G35 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and either 64 or 128GB storage and runs normal Android 11 instead of Android 10 (Go Edition). In terms of design, the two are highly identical except that the Hot 11 Play has a squarish rear fingerprint sensor and a ridge-back design.

The cameras are identical to its predecessor. Like it, the Hot 11 Play has a 13mp sensor complemented with an AI camera. There are four holes but Infinix (and maybe even Tecno) has a tendency to make useless holes in order for users to think there are more cameras than it actually has. There’s a hole too for the LED flash.

In terms of display, the Hot 11 Play uses a 6.82in. HD+ IPS LCD panel that’s identical to the Hot 10 Play. The battery is also identical, 6000mAh. In a nutshell, what’s changed here is the processor and the OS, which runs xOS 7.6 based on Android 11.

The phone is available via Shopee. The 4/64 version costs Php5,790 while the 4/128 version costs Php6,490. It comes in four colours: Black, Blue, Green, and Gold.
