The Realme GT Neo 2 is launching globally on 3rd November!

There’s a sequel already?

The Realme GT Neo has been considered a success in China and in other similar markets. A few months after that phone got released, the company is already announcing a sequel. Don’t worry! You aren’t missing much if you have already purchased the regular Neo.

The Realme GT Neo 2 has a different back design and slightly altered specs: a taller 6.62in 120Hz AMOLED screen protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, A Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor instead of Mediatek Dimensity 1200 and a completely identical camera hardware: 64mp main + 8mp ultrawide + 2mp macro, along with a 16mp selfie shooter. The series is intended for performance capabilities hence the camera hardware is not going to be a top priority. The Neo 2 also lost the headphone jack that the first one had.

For battery, the phone charges on a USB-C 2.0 and has a capacity of 5000mAh coupled with 65W fast charging. It has an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for biometrics. It runs Android 11 with RealmeUI 2.0 out of the box.

Let’s wait until Realme announces the price for the Realme GT Neo 2 globally. Unfortunately though, the original Realme GT and GT Neo never arrived in the Philippines, but we have hopes for this one. The GT Master did, however, come to the Philippines with a competitive price tag.
