The Redmi 10 is now official in the Philippines! 50mp camera and Helio G88

50mp on a budget phone sounds like a new gimmick

The Redmi 10 has arrived in the Philippines with an attractive price tag and a new gimmick: a 50mp camera. The other three cameras are just the usual garbage: an 8mp ultrawide and two useless 2mp depth and macro. There is an 8mp front camera for selfies.

The new Redmi 10 also uses the new Helio G88 processor, another 12nm processor that is essentially a gimped Helio G85, and surely is not as stable, not yet. Coupled with the Helio G88 is the 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging and 9W reverse charging, which you can use to charge other handsets as well.

For the display, it’s a 6.5in. IPS LCD with 90Hz refresh rate. The usual, nothing to be seen here. The phone also supports wireless payment through NFC. In the box comes a 22.5W fast charger which has more than enough Wattage to support the 18W charging support the phone has.

In addition to all features mentioned, this is also one of the few budget phones with stereo speakers.

The phone starts at Php7590 for the 4/64 variant and Php8590 for the 6/128 variant. You can purchase the phone through Shopee and Lazada, as well as authorized Mi Stores and Mi Zones, which the company has listed here.
