OnePlus has recently announced that they are merging back to Oppo to have better resources and R&D. The OnePlus 9T and 9T Pro may be the result of that merging.
According to this tipster, the phone will retain the Hasselblad cameras and may use ColorOS 11. Although we don’t know yet if this is only in the Chinese edition or also the international variant. As a flagship, the Pro version may have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ that was announced early this month. However, the earliest users of that chipset is Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, Motorola and Honor. Nowhere does it mention that OnePlus will be the first using it. So, as their slogan said “never settle” they settled. The 9T may have the regular Snapdragon 888
The phone will also have AMOLED, as expected, with a FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The company is expected to release a “T” series of their phone, as it is tradition. The OnePlus 8T was released was announced in October last year, so the 9T series may be released in the same month.
These are leaks, and we also cannot believe that, if true, OnePlus is switching to ColorOS. They already do in China, but we are not expecting it internationally. OxygenOS is why we love OnePlus, it’s a simple, clean and bloat-free OS that improves on what stock Android lacks. Again, these are leaks, take them with a pinch of salt until we get official notes from OnePlus
