With the iPhone 12 series currently released and trending, there are already rumours of what the next iPhone might look like. The iPhone 13 is still subject to numerous rumour mills and its release is still a few months away.

A tipster from Twitter showed different metallic backs on what appears to be a possible design for the iPhone 13. In all three images, it shows a huge squircle cutout for the camera bump

In addition, MacRumors also showed a possible design render for the iPhone 13 which includes the huge camera bump. The picture above compared the difference between the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro to the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro respectively. Like Apple’s taste in smartphone design, barely anything changed than a simple transform and scale tool to its camera bump.

MacRumors stated that the next iPhone is expected to have a thicker 7.57mm thickness, vs 7.4mm from the iPhone 12. The camera bumps are also to be extended and bigger, from 1.5-1.7mm from the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, to 2.51mm for the iPhone 13, and 3.65mm for the iPhone 13 Pro.

There are also expected four models for the upcoming iPhone 13. These are: the vanilla iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Max, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Although, there are also rumors that Apple may even skip the iPhone 13 entirely and instead name it “iPhone 14” due to the supernatural belief that the number 13 is bad luck.

The iPhone 13 is expected to be release around September, in the third quarter, if ever rumours about the iPhone 13 came true.
