It is no surprise that, when the Redmi K40 gaming was announced, it took the smartphone market by storm, and had already sold at least 100,000 sales in a minute. So, Xiaomi is also creating a slightly inferior version, but not as far off, a Redmi K40 Gaming with Dimensity 1100, and there may also be different iterations of the device as well.
The rumour was first seen on a Weibo post. According to the tipster, this has a MT6891 processor, which is the model number for the Dimensity 1100, FHD AMOLED, 64mp cameras, 67W fast charging and 5000mAh battery.
Because this is an inferior version with a slightly cheaper price, this may be a K40 Gaming “Lite”. Again, despite the name, it is only slightly inferior and not much of the performance is lost.
Xiaomi is still yet to say regarding this device, and due to how popular the K40 Gaming has become, the “K Gaming” series may become a sub-branch of the “K” series.
