PUBG is one of a series of apps banned in India. And because of this, players in India can no longer access the regular version of PUBG. For context, the mobile version of PUBG was developed by Chinese giant Tencent, in cooperation with PUBG Corporation.
To resolve this, PUBG has teased an Indian-only version of the game with reduced gore, violence and nudity. The game was teased first in PUBG India’s YouTube but has since been taken down. Currently, there are no gameplays shown, nor any approximate time of release. It will most likely have the same gameplay and graphics as the global PUBG, but this might come by default in Hindi language.
