Registration for the Philippine ID System (PhilSys) starts tomorrow, 30th April 2021. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said that it will launch an online portal for the registration.
To apply, applicants must simply fill up a form and input any information required for the ID and schedule their visit to authorised centers for biometrics information.
During the first Quarter of 2021, there were about 17.4 million registrants who have completed the step 1 application, which involves door-to-door collection of required information.
Meanwhile, there were about 4.6 million registrants who already accomplished step 2, which was going to authorised centers for biometrics information.
PSA aims to achieve at least 70 million registrants for the PhilSys within the end of the year.
