Huawei Nova 8 Pro 4G goes LIVE! 120Hz screen, Kirin 985 and more


Huawei has unveiled a new smartphone for the Nova series, the Nova 8 Pro 4G. It comes with the in-house Kirin 985 chipset and 120Hz screen. In many respects, it is similar to the previously announced Nova 8 Pro 5G last December. The phone was launched in its home country, China.

The display is a FHD+ 6.72in. OLED with 120Hz refresh rate (unlike the 5G which came with 90Hz refresh rate) and a resolution 2676×1236 pixels. The phone is powered by the in-house Kirin 985 chipset

For the cameras, there is a quad camera setup with your usual auxiliaries. The main shooter is 64mp complemented by an 8mp ultrawide and two 2mp depth and macro sensors. For the front cam, it has two, a 32mp ultrawide coupled with a 16mp wide sensor.

The phone also has a 4000mAh battery with 66W fast charging. According to Huawei, you can charge the phone from empty to full in just 35 minutes.

Although available in Huawei’s website, there is no prices announced yet. The phone comes with 8GB RAM with options for either 128GB or 256GB storage.
