The Mega Launch is a huge event for Xiaomi, especially in terms of its camera department. Now it seems like Xiaomi has broken all records today as the phone managed to score a whopping 143 overall points on DXOMark!
DXOMark is a benchmarking website that reviews a device’s sound performance and camera performance, whether video or photo. DXOMark is still publishing its full review, so stay tuned as we update this article.
It scored 148 points overall for its photo performance, 100 points for its zoom and 117 points for its video capabilities.
Other than that, Xiaomi compared their Mi 11 Ultra to an actual camera, the RX100M7. This is a bold move for Xiaomi. What’s more, they compared the performance with no lights at all.
They also have compared the sensor sizes, noting theirs is just slightly larger.
We can’t wait for the reviews to come in and see whether Xiaomi’s claims are true or not. This is definitely a daring move, as smartphones are no way as capable as actual modern cameras with their versatility and ability to switch between lenses.
