Huawei P50 Pro render leaked in Voice.com

Every year, smartphone companies release a new flagship with multiple features not shown on midranges, to keep up with competition.

Last year, Huawei announced the P40 Pro, a phone notable for its amazing cameras including a 12mp periscopic camera.

Now, there is a leaked image of the P50 Pro from a reliable tipster from Voice.com. The image came from Steve Hemmerstofer who provided a glimpse of the P50 Pro back in December.

Today, he shared more information to which the phone may have today. Below are some of the design speculations:

  • Glass rear panel
  • Metal Frame with flat edges
  • 159 x 73 x 8.6mm (10.3mm with the rear camera bump)

The glass panel is not a surprise here. The P40 Pro and Mate 30 also came with a glass back. The flat edges was also seen on the Mate 30 series.

The tipster also showed possible display speculations, which are listed below:

  • 6.6in display
  • Punch Hole camera in the center
  • Extremely Thin Bezels
  • Slim chin

Another specs the tipster revealed are the rear camera bump and other features including in-display fingerprint and dual speakers on the top and bottom frames. There is no word yet for what the camera system will be but seeing the P40 Pro camera systems, the P50 Pro may have the same camera setup as well.

The camera hump is egg-shaped. Inside is two huge camera bumps which may be for the periscopic camera and the wide camera.

The camera bump may cause a debate among users because it is large and may not exactly lie flat on a surface. However, in compensation, the camera hump may introduce new features that are currently not available on other smartphones yet.

Let’s wait until the official announcement from Huawei. Take note this is just speculations and you should not expect anything from it
