Motorola launches 4K Android TV stick in India

It seems like Motorola want to take on Xiaomi seriously, not just on smartphones but on other electronics as well. In India, Motorola launched their own version of the Mi Box, which costs around Rs. 3999 (2.7k PhP). The 4K Android TV Stick will be sold exclusively on Flipkart.

The TV Stick is more affordable in comparison to the Mi Box, which launched for 3,000 php

The Android Stick supports HDR10, 4K video (as the name implies) and as low as 72p @ 60Hz for streaming.

It is powered by 2GB RAM and a 2GHz Cortex-A55 quad core chipset (likely from Rockchip). It also has 16GB storage built in. It runs with Android 9 Pie out of the box, which means, by default it has Chromecast and Google Assistant built-in, as well as the Google Play Store for downloading apps

For connectivity, it has HDMI support, Bluetooth, a microphone built-in on the remote and Dolby Audio support. It also has a dedicated Google Assistant button
