Cherry Mobile recently slashed off the price of its flagship midrange phone, the Aqua S9 Max and the Aqua Infinity to just 8,999 and 6,999 php respectively. That’s nearly 1,000php off from their previous prices.
The Cherry Mobile Aqua Infinity is currently the most affordable phone with a configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is powered by a Mediatek Helio P60 and Quad Cameras. It unusually came with a 20mp Depth sensor, 2mp monochrome and 2mp AI camera. For the front, there is an 8mp camera
The phone also has USB-C for connectivity and runs on vanilla Android 10. It also has the usual 10W charging and 4000mah battery.
The Aqua S9 Max is Cherry’s cherry-on-the-top offering. It is powered by the Mediatek Helio G90T processor and comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It has a 1080p screen resolution, to which, a yellow true-to-themselves company has yet to adapt. For the cameras, it is the usual flavour of 48mp main, 8mp ultrawide, 2mp macro and 2mp depth. However, the deal-breaker here is that the 48mp camera is actually a Sony IMX 582 sensor, the same sensor found on the Xiaomi Mi 9T.
The Aqua S9 Max also runs on vanilla Android 10 and supports 18W fast charging. The battery capacity is 5130mAh and it also comes with USB-C.
