The Tecno Spark Go 3 To Launch in January 16 in India

Those who want a phone that just does the job a phone should, should get this.

Transsion announced that the Tecno Spark Go 3 will be launching for Indian users tomorrow, January 16. Its main gimmick is that it’s a durable device made for everyday tasks and challenges. To prove it, they even certified the phone with an IP64 rating, something we rarely see on an ultrabudget phone. Most brands would opt to just IP53.

The phone is designed to withstand drops from heights of up to 1.2 meters. With that said, it’s still an everyday budget phone. Tecno says that users can communicate with this phone of up to 1.5km even if there are no signals nearby. In addition, dual-lane connectivity is supported. The phone is designed for long-term communications in mind.

The phone features a single rear camera. The other hole is… well, just a hole. The camera, based on other budget phones in mind, is most likely either 13MP or 8MP in resolution whereas the front is 8MP or 5MP.

Tecno says the phone is certified to have lag-free performance even after four years, despite it using a budget UNISOC UMS9230E chipset with the never-dying ARM Mali-G57 GPU, paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage out of the box. In terms of battery life, the phone is supplied with a standard 5000mAh battery.

The Tecno Spark Go 3, as expected, is a 4G-only device capable of dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi. It also runs Android 15 with Tecno’s UI on top. As for pricing, that is yet to be announced.
