This is the Oppo K13x. A Budget Phone from Oppo with a BIG Battery

Indian users gonna enjoy this one… maybe.

India is where every new or obscure phones launch first. Some reach the global market, some don’t. Some reach the global market through a different name but ultimately the same functionality.

The Oppo K13x is a budget phone with a luxurious flair. It is available for Indian users first via Flipkart. Its main highlights include the large 6000mAh battery, “armour” body, and 45W fast charging. It’s basically the feature of every new phone released to date since that’s what the meta favors.

The Oppo K13x features a 120Hz FHD+ (2400x1080px) IPS LCD screen with an absurdly large forehead and chin. Gotta cut the budget somehow. It features a dot notch and this notch houses the 8MP selfie camera. Now, if you see an “x” beside the name, that refers to a toned-down version of the main handset. In this case, the K13.

And speaking of cameras, the phone has got a nice treat, albeit typical of handsets like it. There is a 50MP primary camera on here with a 2MP depth sensor and a flash. Nothing too surprising.

As for performance, the phone is surprisingly adept. Thanks to the MediaTek Dimensity 6300x chipset it uses. Though, this is most likely chosen to ensure the phone has 5G services and not exactly for performance reasons. The phone has 4GB RAM (all the way to 8GB) with up to 256GB storage.

Finally, the phone has your usual connectivity options like dual-band Wi-Fi, 5G, 4G LTE, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

The phone is priced at INR 11,999 (~PHP 7.9K) for the 4/128 variant, all the way to INR 14,999 (~PHP 9,9K) for the 8/256 variant.
