Infinix Joins the Very Thin Phone Race! Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ will be the Thinnest Ever!

At 5.95mm, it is the thinnest curved phone yet!

Phones are just getting thinner and thinner by the minute. Due to advancements in battery tech, thanks to Silicon-Carbon (SiC), manufacturers can now safely make their phones thinner without sacrificing too much battery capacity. Thin phones are not new. Even during the smartphone’s infancy manufacturers are racing to make their phones the thinnest ever. It makes the phone lighter and more aesthetically pleasing.

Samsung previously launched the Galaxy S25 Edge, the slim variant of the Galaxy S25. It is measured at only 5.5mm thick. Honor also released a thin foldable (which makes more sense, honestly), the Magic V3. It competes against the Galaxy Z Fold5 and is thinner than it. Now, Infinix is joining the race of thin smartphones. However, unlike other brands, they managed to make a curved phone thin when all others have flat displays.

Whether you prefer flat or curved screens is up to you, but flat screens have less chances of breakage. On the other hand. curved screens are more aesthetically pleasing. The picture above, as exclusively shown by tipster ICE UNIVERSE on Twitter, shows the new thin smartphone that Infinix is planning to launch, known as the HOT 60 Pro Plus. The name suggests that it would be an entry or a mid-level phone.

While Infinix has not said anything about the device, we highly expect a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 for 5G or the Helio G99 or the “all-new” G200, which is more or less just a rebranded G99 anyway. As for other specs, we might also see a 120Hz IPS LCD screen, or an OLED screen with a lower refresh rate. Also, judging from the image, there are three camera holes which do not protrude. While there are three holes, most likely only one or two of them are truly functional, while the other/s are just filler/s.

The phone is slightly thicker than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge but also thinner than the latest iPhone.

Infinix has not announced a launch date yet but once it’s there, we’ll let you know, techies!
